WORX WG752 Review
The Anti-Clog Deck That Mostly Works
The Worx Nitro WG752 is a 21 inch 40V cordless mower with a vented deck built to stop clippings clogging, and two 20V batteries come in the box. Dry lawns up to a third of an acre suit it best, because owners with thick damp grass struggled.
The verdict
Clogging is the universal complaint about cordless mowers, and WORX built the WG752 deck specifically to deal with it. A vented design they call Aerodeck boosts air volume inside the cutting chamber, which is meant to keep clippings moving rather than packing up.
At $397.39 with two 5.0Ah batteries and a dual charger included, it undercuts the EGO LM2114 while giving you a spare battery. Rated 4.4 stars from 408 reviews with over 200 sold in the past month.
WORX is more honest about runtime than most
Credit where it is due. WORX states a max no load runtime of 50 minutes. That phrase matters, because no load means without grass pushing back against the blade. Every other manufacturer in this category states a runtime figure with no such qualifier, which is how you end up with the contradictions we found on the Greenworks and Sun Joe listings.
Owner figures land about where you would expect. E. Young does a quarter acre on a single charge and reckons twice that if the grass is short. Liph cuts his whole third of an acre on one charge provided he cuts often, and notes that working around obstacles chews through battery. William Croysdill finished under a quarter acre front and back with the batteries a little above half.
Where it struggles
Allan Brown gave it three stars and his review is the one to read before buying. His front yard went fine except in grass over 5 inches. His 4,600 sq ft back yard, with thicker grass and damp patches, went badly. The mower did not cope and the battery drained quickly.
His summary is fair and useful. If you have light growth and a predominantly dry yard, the WG752 is a good mower. If you do not, buy something more powerful.
Amazon’s review summary reflects the same split. Battery life gets mixed feedback, with some owners rating it above Ryobi and others reporting it will not hold a charge beyond 20 minutes.
The replacement blade problem
Worth knowing before you buy. In May 2024, E. Young noted that WORX did not sell a replacement blade for this model and said he would gladly buy one when it appeared.
Two years later, a Canadian owner reported the 21 inch mulching blade had been out of stock on the WORX website since May, with none available from Canadian Tire, Amazon or anywhere else. His verdict was blunt, that WORX sells mowers and does not care about replacement parts.
Blades wear. Every mower here needs sharpening or replacing eventually, and a dull blade drains your battery faster. Check current availability before committing.
Setup notes
Several owners criticize the instructions. Catmac says they are not the best. The Countess calls the manual horrible, with small diagrams and no step by step guidance, though she worked it out in an extra minute of thought. William Croysdill says the directions were not clear but he figured everything out.
One thing genuinely catches people. Press and hold the button first, then lift the bar. Owners used to gas mowers try it the other way around and conclude the mower is faulty.
Who should buy it
Dry lawns up to a third of an acre, and anyone already on the WORX PowerShare platform. Two batteries in the box at under $400.00 is good value, and the Aerodeck really does help with clumping.
Trevor M Johnson sums up the appeal well. His 12 year old son does the front and back on one charge, and the mower is quiet enough to take phone calls while mowing.

Buy it if
You have a dry lawn up to a third of an acre, you already own WORX tools, or you want two batteries included without paying EGO money.
Skip it if
Your grass is often damp or over 5 inches. One owner with 4,600 sq ft of thick moist grass said plainly that it did not cope.
Questions people ask
How long does the Worx WG752 run?
WORX states a max no load runtime of 50 minutes and rates it for lawns up to half an acre. Owners report a quarter acre on one charge, and a third of an acre if you cut often. Note that no load means without grass resistance, so real figures come in lower.
Is the Worx WG752 good in wet grass?
No. One owner with 4,600 sq ft of thicker, partly moist grass reported it did not do well at all and drained the battery quickly. His advice was to buy something more powerful if your yard is not predominantly dry.
Can you buy replacement blades for the WG752?
That has been a problem. An owner flagged in 2024 that no replacement blade was sold for this model, and a Canadian owner confirmed in 2026 that the 21 inch mulching blade had been out of stock on the WORX site since May. Check availability before you buy.
Does the WG752 come with batteries?
Yes, two 20V 5.0Ah PowerShare Pro batteries and a 4.0A dual charger. The two batteries combine to give 40V, and they fit over 140 other WORX tools.
What is Intellicut?
Sensors that automatically raise cutting speed when the mower hits thick grass and lower it in thinner areas to save runtime. Owners can hear it step up, and one describes the effect as badass.
